Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: September 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to Sisco's Bass Trainer and this website. Wade Sisco is the individual developer responsible for personal information directly collected through these products. This policy explains what information may be processed, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

Information You Choose to Provide

You do not need an account to use Sisco's Bass Trainer. If you contact us by email, we receive the message and the email address you use. We use that information to respond, provide support, prevent abuse, and maintain necessary business records. We do not add you to a mailing list without your permission.

Camera and Hand Tracking

Camera Practice and related camera features use the device camera to detect hand and finger movement. Camera frames and finger-tracking information are intended to be processed on your device and are not intentionally uploaded to our servers or retained by the app after the session. You may deny or revoke camera access in iOS Settings. Features that do not require the camera remain available.

Microphone and Pitch Detection

Live Pitch Practice, tuning, and other live-note features may request microphone access. Audio is analyzed locally in real time to estimate musical pitch. The app does not intentionally record, upload, or retain raw microphone audio. If microphone access is denied, features requiring live bass input will be unavailable while the rest of the app remains usable.

App Settings, Progress, and Purchases

The app may store settings, lesson selections, practice progress, free-use allowances, and unlock state on your device. Apple processes App Store downloads and in-app purchases under Apple's policies. We do not receive your payment-card details. Apple may provide transaction status needed to unlock or restore purchased features.

Advertising, Consent, and Diagnostics

The free version may use Google AdMob and Google's consent services to display and measure ads. Depending on your region, device settings, and consent choices, Google may process device identifiers, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, app interactions, ad interactions, and diagnostic information. The app's ad configuration limits eligible content to Teen or stricter. Camera frames, finger-tracking information, and raw microphone audio are not intentionally supplied to advertising services.

The free version may also show promotions for other apps using images bundled with Bass Trainer. Showing those images does not request them from a separate advertiser image server. The app keeps promotion view and tap counts on your device. Tapping a promotion may open its App Store page.

Apple and integrated service providers may process crash reports, performance information, device and operating-system version, app version, launches, and feature-use events. If additional analytics services are enabled in a future release, this policy and the applicable App Store privacy information will be updated as required.

Website Data

When you visit this website, the hosting provider may process standard server-log data such as IP address, browser type, requested page, referring page, and request time. This information is used to deliver, secure, and understand the basic operation of the website. The site does not require an account and does not include a contact form that stores messages on the site.

How Information Is Used

  • To provide bass training, camera, pitch-detection, purchase, and restore features.
  • To maintain app security, reliability, eligibility limits, and performance.
  • To display and measure ads in the free version, subject to applicable consent choices.
  • To answer support, privacy, business, or legal messages you send.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may classify certain advertising or measurement disclosures as “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising. Where applicable, device, platform, consent, and legally required request mechanisms will be honored.

Third-Party Services

The app or website may rely on Apple App Store and StoreKit services, Google AdMob and consent services, and ordinary website hosting and email providers. Those providers process information under their own privacy policies and terms. Their practices are not controlled by this policy.

Retention and Deletion

Temporary camera and raw-audio processing ends with the applicable on-device session. Device settings and progress remain until removed by the app, erased by you, or deleted when the app is uninstalled, subject to device backups. Support messages may be kept only as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain records, prevent abuse, or comply with law. Third-party providers retain information according to their own policies.

Children's Privacy

Sisco's Bass Trainer is designed as a music-learning tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.

Your Choices and Rights

You can control camera and microphone permissions in iOS Settings and advertising or tracking choices through applicable device and consent settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information directly controlled by the developer.

Security and Changes

We use reasonable safeguards and minimize the information collected directly. No system is completely secure. We may update this policy when the app, services, or legal requirements change. The date at the top will show the latest revision.
